General Terms and Conditions

From the accommodation contract, the customer (hereinafter referred to as the guest) shall have the right to have the accommodation provider (hereinafter referred to as the hotel) provide him with temporary accommodation for the agreed period or for the period resulting from the purpose of accommodation in the Design Merrion hotel.

  1. Every guest staying at the hotel is obliged to register at the hotel reception (Check In kiosk) and prove his/her identity in at least the following data: first and last name, residential address, date of birth, nationality, ID number - ID card or passport and signature. A guest needing a visa to enter the Czech Republic is required to show proof of a valid visa. If the hotel does not provide the necessary personal data to which it is bound by applicable regulations, the hotel may refuse to accommodate the guest, regardless of the validity of the reservation contract and cancellation fees.
  2. For the stay and ordered services, the accommodated guest is obliged to pay the price in accordance with his reservation by credit card at the latest on the day of arrival. Payment by invoice is possible only if the order is sent in advance and the deposit is paid.
  3. Upon check-in and proper completion of the registration form, the hotel will issue a card for the room and entrance to the hotel, which is valid for the duration of the stay according to the reservation, but no later than 12 o'clock on the day of the guest's departure. Upon repeated arrival at the hotel, this card will allow the guest to enter the hotel.
  4. The hotel will hand over to the guest the premises reserved for him for accommodation in a condition suitable for proper use and will ensure the undisturbed exercise of his rights associated with the accommodation.
  5. The guest uses the spaces that have been reserved for him for accommodation, the common areas of the hotel and uses the services, the provision of which is connected with the accommodation.
  6. The guest properly uses the spaces reserved for him for accommodation. In these areas, the guest may not make any substantial changes without the hotel's consent.
  7. Based on the ordered accommodation, the guest has the right to check in no later than 6 p.m. The hotel reserves the room for the guest until this time, unless otherwise agreed.
  8. If the accommodation period has not been agreed in advance, the guest must check-out by 11 a.m. on the last day of the stay at the latest, and vacate the room at the same time. If he does not do so within the specified period, the hotel may charge him for the stay for the following day as well.
  9. A guest who checks in before six o'clock in the morning will pay the price of the accommodation for the entire previous night.
  10. A guest who ordered accommodation before 12 o'clock and the room ordered by him could not be rented the previous night, pays for the accommodation for the previous night as well.
  11. Between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., the guest observes a nightly silence.
  12. If the guest requests an extension of the stay, the hotel can (if possible) offer him a different room than the one in which he was originally accommodated.
  13. The guest is allowed to receive visitors in the room only with the consent of the hotel (by writing in the guest book) between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.
  14. Dogs are only allowed to enter the accommodation area of the hotel by prior arrangement and are subject to a fee.
  15. Use of the hotel is permitted only to persons who are not affected by infectious diseases.
  16. In the event of illness or injury of the guest, the hotel will provide, possibly call for medical help.
  17. It is not allowed to use your own electrical appliances, e.g. kettles. Exceptions are shavers, curling irons and charging devices. The guest is responsible for the use of permitted appliances and is liable for any damage caused by their operation.
  18. When leaving the room, the guest closes the windows, water taps, closes the room and hands over the room card to the reception, or put in the check-out kiosk.
  19. For safety reasons, it is not allowed to leave children under the age of ten without adult supervision in the room and in other social areas of the hotel.
  20. The guest is responsible for damages caused to hotel property according to applicable regulations.
  21. The hotel is liable for damage to items brought in by or for guests, unless they have been entrusted to the safekeeping of the hotel or a specific hotel employee.
  22. The guest can withdraw from the contract before the end of the agreed period, the guest is obliged to compensate the damage caused to the hotel by early departure only if the guest could not prevent the damage.
  23. The hotel may withdraw from the contract before the end of the agreed period if the guest, despite the warning, grossly violates good manners, or otherwise grossly violates the provisions of this regulation.
  24. For accommodation and related services, the guest is obliged to pay the prices in accordance with the valid price list of the hotel and in the amount specified in the reservation. It usually applies when the reservation is made, but at the latest on the day of the start of the stay. The bill for the provided accommodation and services will be received by the guest by e-mail after the end of the stay.
  25. The hotel is not responsible for damage caused to parked vehicles and items left in them.
